Looking at putting a fifth wheel in my lower yard. Any ideas on how much to put in a septic system? Shouldn’t be more than a 500 gallon system I would think. Thanks

Are you doing it yourself on a Sunday? Or paying someone to do it then inviting the county over to inspect?

Man I’ve watched videos on how to do it. I have the access to the equipment needed but the time is what I don’t have. For now I’m looking at paying someone to do it.

Well I'm at a loss then. If you decide to do it yourself go to the Tank Source on the other side of the freeway (Latest Rage). He has the tanks, the leach chambers, and the pipe. I put mine in in a day with a mini x.

Paying someone to do it may save you time in actual work, but if they require you to get approval from the county it could take a lot longer before you get permission to flush some turds in your 5th wheel.

If you don’t mind me asking, what did it set you back for materials? Also, did you take pictures that I could see? I figured I could get the tanks from them but I didn’t know they sold the piping also!

I’d guess I was in it about 1k. But it’s really a guess as it was over 10 years ago. Maybe $1500.

They sell everything. Even the new interlocking leach field halves

I watched blackburn do mine. All really easy. Just time and materials.

He redid my leach field 4 years ago. Did a great job and was very accommodating. Fwiw 150’ of leach field was 5k$ but it was 3 full days plus parts/equipment

I paid $11,000 for mine. Much larger than 500gals. Peace
