And yet another reason of why I hate the VA.
 



If you go to the VA to use their financial management programs/training, they report you to the FBIs Criminal Background Check System which strips you of your Second Amendment Rights. Nothing more than a gun grab against Veterans.



Sen. Kennedy (R-LA) is trying to fix that.  Of course Bi-dumb will veto it or not sign it.

They have been doing that for a while now. Well....  here in San Diego they have been.  

One of the guys from work went to get his VA benifits setup and they started asking him all kind of odd questions about suicide and owning guns and mental health stuff. 

If you knew this guy you would know there is no reason to be asking this guy any of these questions.  So he started pushing back and they assured him this is nothing to be worried about, they now have to ask everyone these things....  

Anytime anyone from the government tells you not to worry....

I have ZERO trust for ANYTHING government, ANYTHING mental health, ANYTHING that people ask me questions about firearms.

I had no idea the VA did this, but assumed there were other reporting requirements they do behind Veterans backs.  It was discovered that the VA provides health records on Veteran pilots to the FAA to show disabilities.  This disqualified pilots from flying after they leave the service.  The reason is to discourage Veteran pilots from applying for benefits and...to make pilots stay in the service longer since the VA will try and ruin their chances of flying outside of the military.

I'll say it again...America HATES its Veterans.

While you might not feel that way...while most of GD.com might not feel that way...most Americans wouldn't lift a finger to help Veterans.  So many people say they do, wrap themselves in the flag and sing songs of mom and apple pie but in the end, do nothing, vote for nothing, etc...

If it comes down to paying for illegals, paying for college loan relief, their healthcare, etc...people will support that all day long, but better pay and services for Active military and Veterans...nope.  All lip service.
