I think this decision is amazing.  Affirmative Action is pure discrimination.  If you have dealt with college admissions with your kids (or yourself), you know it isn't all based on your academics.  This is a landmark decision in my opinion.

Now look at all the liberals complaining about equal rights, Newscum and Biden have already complained about it.  People need to remember these complainers come November 2024.

This opens the door big time.

There is a BIG loophole in this decision 

discrimanation will continue to rule the admissions process

its gonna take 20-30 more years of law suits

 
Any action that gives preferential treatment due to race is discriminatory. Entrance to universities should be based solely upon an individual’s qualifications. 
Now they need to rule the student loan forgiveness as unconstitutional just like affirmative action. You took out the loan don’t expect someone else to pay for it.

What about preferential treatment to persons like @Crusty who are privileged?

 
I agree with the decision, but the unfortunate part is that it will just cause more division in the media and further push the white privilege narrative. I hope they modify it such that those in lower income families have a leg up on admission -that would wipe out a lot of arguments...but that's also not perfect solution to give everyone a fair shot. Bottom line, better schools and better parents result in better grades - and middle to upper class homes neighborhoods arguably have a leg up on that front.

 
You know the refugees from Vietnam came here with NOTHING....literally the clothes on their backs...didn't know the language, went to the same schools and kicked the "American's" asses........it doesn't have to do with what school you are from, it's what you put into it and how much you value it. How did Clarence Thomas become one of the best legal minds in the world?? He worked his ass off, and then was still seen as someone who got there because of his color......and the left resents him for that.....This is a TOOL in their quiver and they will NEVER Let racism go.....it's really all they have.

Now this need to be for the work place.

On paper...what are you qualifications? Don't care what color you are, can you do the job and are you the best candidate for the position!

This won't happen cause 75% of those in office are there because of some liberal movement or they meet a certain quota.
