I've loved their music but that don't mean they are good live...  

What say you??

I think I've seen them live twice, loved them both times! The concerts I went to they sounded just as good or better than the album. They're very tight and precise in concert.

I saw them in the nineties, say 97. I thought they were great. The crowd went nuts. 25 years is a long time though.

 
I can't remember which concert I went to last (Scorps), I believe it was Love at First Sting, and they only sounded so, so. 

Now I have to say YES, Big Generator, and U2,  Zoo TV Tour, sounded just as good, if not better than there CD.s.  Clean Vocals, was hard to come by those days, from rock bands.

Have seen them maybe 6 times over the last 40 years.  Great band and they always delivered a energetic live performance that had you standing on your seat.  Back in the 80's they were one of the best live acts to see They were a tight band and knew how to entertain.  

That being said Klause is now well over 70 but still can sing, the rest of them are not spring chickens either so I wouldn't expect the energetic show I once saw.  Doesn't mean they are not a tight band who know what songs the people still want to hear.

 
They were good in the 90s. Lots of (@) (@) flashed at that concert. This may or may not be a good thing now, depending on fan turnover… :biggrin:

 
Musicians can age and ruin their legacy. Lead singer for The Who stopped a concert and yelled at someone in the front row for smoking a joint. 

I used to play Floyd a lot but it doesnt sound the same anymore because Roger Waters is such a butthead. 

Not very familiar with Scorpions. Besides i think that youre not supposed to call them "the" Scorpions.
