What's it worth?   :dunno:

This is all I got back from my stolen sandrail. I had intentions of bringing her back to life but, life happened.

Fully tabbed Sandbuggy Supply, dual purpose frame, originally setup with a twin turbo Northstar, 2D Medi, bypass shocks all four corners. Missing rear cage.

If your handy you can re Assemble yourself but your missing a lot of fabricated components. Probably have to get with like a Goodrich fab or similar to give you a budget what it would cost to put it back together. The chassis as it sits isn’t worth much until it’s more of a roller. A roller probably 8-10k??  I’m sure the smarter guys on here will chip in and blow me up. Haha

Sadly, I think it's probably only worth a few hundred bucks at best to the right person.  Without at least the arms spindles and trailing arms, and Sand Buggy Supply not being around, it would all have to be reverse engineered.  All of the expensive parts are gone, and a lot of recreating is required, which is a very tall task for most people.  It's not impossible, but not as easy as just reassembling.

Very sad to see this!!  Thieves SUCK!!!!!

Its not that tall a task. But material costs are up labor is up. And many things like shocks are unavailable for 15 months. Not the best time to be building a buggy. The thieves probably made a fortune parting it out.

i am going to have to agree. Its value is low right now. I’d sit on it a few years

I know Sand Buggy Supply is closed but a few of the employees branched off and started building cars. The company is Sandrail Fabricators.

They may have some old jigs that could help.

Not a bad suggestion!!  That might be the only help to salvage what you can.

I have to say that finishing up my car leaves me with a chassis and I was going to sell it but seeing what they are going for makes me think I just hold on to it and build it back up latter.

Yore Original car was very nice. I had a stolen Toyota truck in HS that I loved, when they found it stripped i didn't want to even touch it.

Such a frustrating feeling.

GLWTS or the rebuild...whatever you decide.
