San Felipe 250 Can Am Accident

Fuel cell under the seat? I assume it was an aftermarket auxiliary tank...

Hopefully, something comes to light on this on what happened, but given the car is burned to tubes, it'll be almost impossible to tell other than who made the cell.

Safety in Racing is vital; hope they fully recover from the burns.

This stuff happens, you prepare the best you can, but it still happens. Be Safe.

yeah from Monster girls to drivers, cool transition. sorry to hear this biggest fear of off-road and boating is a fire

It was an auxiliary tank from one of the vendors that makes them for the X3. The race fuel cells in the desert race SXS are usually under the seats.

I believe the new Mason Gen 2 AWD trophy truck also has the fuel cell in the cab area.
