Anyone have a line on an S4 or S5D? Trying to replace a Fortin Wide H.

That is like finding a split window 67 vette with tripower sitting in a barn that has never been touched.  Good luck.  Been waiting for a R&P for 9 months and the ones they got in are all bad.

Haha, it’s probably not in my cards this season. If I do end up selling the trans that basically ends any chance of even making Idaho.

Yeah I know its a long shot. But you never know. From what I understand they are back in production....

To be honest I'm surprised you haven't sold it already. Are you putting it in a Funco? I'm on the board for a GTU. Need a tranny for a Buckshot X5 I picked up to hold me over. Have a Fortin H being rebuilt I need to sell.

I have had a ton of calls but I am just not flexible on the price. Supposedly someone is driving down from Vegas to buy it tomorrow.  The plan is a new funco. I have a fresh 427 4.5 whipple motor, seats, 12 inch dash, big switch pro, pci system. Everything but a car! 

 
Note about the R&P situation:

We have received a limited number of 4.63 and 4.88 for S4D/S5D. We were not super happy with the outcome of the tooth contacts on the ones that we initially set up in house. We decided to run patterns on every R&P set that we received, which took about a week and a half. There are a few that are definitely no good and we are figuring out what to do with them. The others are questionable, but might run ok, they might be a little noisy on decelerations. The questionable sets might be offered to builders if they want to run them knowing they could be a little noisy. We have not yet reached the point of releasing any of these yet as we are still working to decide if we want to release less than standard quality parts.

Keep in mind that every trans is being supplied by the date it was ordered. We received a limited number of R&P sets and will only fulfill orders based on date they were ordered by the builder. We have orders dating back to November of 2020 at this time, and there are lots of them in between. 

We do apologize for the long wait time on all of our units. Please understand that we have dealt with a lot of unprecedented delays and high volume of sales this year that we could never have anticipated. We are doing everything we can to remedy the situation, but there are only still so many parts that can be made in a given amount of time.

Sean@Weddle We appreciate the transparancy! How about the R&P situation for a PBS? I've patiently been waitiing for my trans shop to get one to finish my re-build. Thanks
