Rugged headset problem

Have 4 person set up. Headsets are 1-2 years old. One of them you can hear fine but cannot talk into. Checked a different cord same result. Is the headset repairable? Is there anything I could look for?

Funny enough, same on the used setup I have. Can't car-to-car from the driver. I noticed a broken pin on the back of the unit itself. So I use the passenger side one and wife uses that one. Works out 😅

 
They are pretty easy to fix....sounds like a broken/loose wire. 

Call PCI and see what they would charge to fix it.  May be cheaper to sell it as is and get a new one. 

 
My PCI Headsets are around 19 years old,  What about purchasing the PCI Headset, 

 
I've had a quite a few broken loose wires with my rugged stuff...... I buy PCI now... just saying.

 
call rugged. talk to Greg,  They will most likely repair or replace it.  I have never had a problem with there customer service.

 
Mic failures seem common with Rugged headsets.  I kept spares in the trailer until I switched to PCI.

 
I am on my 15th year with the rugged headsets and radio, Have not had a issue. On any headset if you pull and pinch the cords, You will have issues from what I have seen with all of them.
