Is SFI or non SFI better for protecting (as best as either could protect) non helmeted head to roll bar impacts? Some of the reviews stated that the SFI types were very hard.

Thanks! It looks like Kirkey has a softer pad. It will have full belts before the trip. The SFI padding is harder compared to the foam type, but it is a lot more fire-resistant which is why racing organizations want it used.
Non helmeted I would probably opt for softer foam.
Best would be proper use of full belts and cage design that keeps your head away from the cage but we can't always have what we want :classic_sad:
Thanks! They sell dual durometer SFI padding for the best of both worlds.
