Anyone lucky enough to see Roger Waters on the North American leg of his "This Is not A Drill" tour? My wife and I saw him this last Monday in Glendale, Arizona. It was an incredible show considering he is 78. His voice hasn't changed much since we saw him 20 years ago at Irvine Meadows. I have to admit I had a bit of a tear forming nearing the end of it was so amazing. His band is the best, they can play the songs live with the same nuances and sounds that are present on the studio recordings we've all heard for decades now. He did partake in a bit of his politics, speaking about current events and lots of visual images but hey it's Roger Waters he can do what he wants to.
Damn my ears were still ringing the next day. The sound system he had assembled in the arena was incredible and he sounded soooo good. Lots of YouTube videos of this tour.
