Rockwood Goes to the Motherland (Korea)

Awesome!
I was stationed in Anjeong-ri 1988-1990. Great people, awesome food and lots to see.

What a great trip! For some reason, I was surprised to see the pagodas. The arrows on the street were something else.

Never crossed my mind to go there. Now you've changed that! Have a great time. Peace

Awesome to be blessed to take the family on a trip like that, congrats man  :crusty:

Thanks for sharing.
Looks like a great trip and it appears that your kids are actually enjoying it.

Not 1979…? I thought maybe you were my daddy.

Lol! Confusing as chit, but I figured it out: there’s an x in the middle which means “NO”. Made more than a couple people pissed…

I’m surprised actually.

While you are in Korea can you check up on the vendors Speed uses there.  RG would appreciate it.   LOL!!!!
Lol, he can’t afford Korean QA

References: everything up to the night shot is Seoul (Seoul tower).

Daughter in the Hambok dress is from the folk village.

Old buildings are at the palace in Seoul.

Beach shots are in Busan at Songdo Beach. They put a diving platform into the bay there and a bunch of bridges and cable cars. Super cool.

Cliffs are the Taejongdae recreation area. Does a loop with a tram to take you around. That’s from the observation deck where they’ve set up beach chairs and have a cafe.

@Poule43 needs that sick 3 wheeler. DOOOOOON MOSHEEEEEN

Funniest cultural difference: McDonald’s is pronounced Mick-doh-nalduh

Speaking of Mick-doh-nolduh’s: ordered a meal for the kids there that’s nearly $20 in the states. $9 total.  :bird:
