Roboforming incremental metal forming. Mind blower.

This dude does a hell of a lot of super cool stuff.  

 
Jeeeeeeesus, the software and math makes my head hurt thinking about this.  The amount of adjustment needed as the metal yields, and the rate they're moving...  Yeah.

That was my thoughts. Crazy math. In the end trial and error once it was up and running. I bet they ruined a lot of metal.

LOL, my dad worked on the software for a high speed printer for HP 15-ish years ago.  Used up most of 4 Xeons and something like 256GB of ram to run the math...  That was 2D printing...
