Time to replace the Group 27s in my Class C.

Been disappointed in my Costco batteries in other vehicles lately (but not the return/exchange policy).  I know Trojans or LiPos are awesome and all, but don't want to spend that much on batteries that I mainly use to run some phone chargers, sporadic heat (not a fan of the temp swings) and other knickknacks for 8-12 hours at night (suitcase generator runs all day unless everyone's out riding).

Can't fit Golf Cart 6vs due to the shallow battery box below the steps.

Any other brand?  Probably just suck it up and deal with replacing 1-2 Costcos during the next 3 years, but at least it's free and the warranty resets every time.

My coach from the factory came with an Interstate battery and the quality was horrendous. First one swelled and got super hot and the second one only lasted about 6 months before I switched it out to 2 6 volts. I would be weary of Interstate. Just my 2 Cents.

You can get AGM batteries in a group 27. I assume you are talking house batteries based on your description? I've had good luck with them lasting vs typical flooded batteries. And you don't have to check the fluid level. I have quite a few Full River AGM's and been happy thus far.

A lot of the 200AH LFP batteries on Amazon are about $800, which is only $400/100AH, which is a better deal. If you find one on sale, even better. Check the reviews to make sure it's as well reviewed as the one you linked. The advantages are it's a single battery, so it's easier to hook up, no need to ensure both sets of battery cables are equal length.

The 99% efficiency of LFPs vs 80% of FLA batteries (at best), the 80-90% usable capacity vs FLA 50%, no need for maintenance and the fact that they will last 10 - 20 yrs depending on mfr cycle count make them a great deal. None of the AGMs or deep cycle FLAs are anywhere near their rated cap., so I don't ever recommend them.

Yep the LiFePo are getting better and cheaper almost daily. Just make sure your charging method can be set to support them.

Thats really up to you.  You already have the writing on the wall.  Its a never ending 1-3 year ritual on any lead or AGM battery that you actively discharge and then recharge.

I think Raw cells are @ $1.40-1.98 per AH right now.

If i'm you I am going to swap out my costco batteries so I am functional.  Im then going to order raw cells and a bms that you can swap out when it finally arrives from china.  Carburetor vs Efi.  They are better in every single way

Any opinion on the linked battery?

They are all the same.  Its the china cells in a plastic box with the china BMS marked up.

I would follow whatever Will Prose does.  He buys and tests all those bats.  He is the goto on LiFePo4

I have been using US Battery's for many years with great results.  Better than trojan's in my opinion, also use them in my golf cart.

FYI, the only reason to buy from Costco is the warranty.  The Batteries are not the same as you can get from a specific battery store, a bit lower quality and made specifically for Costco.
