Rear Sand tire side wall flex

I know you get some flex in the side walls of your rear sand tires. Like when making a hard turn and the weight of the cars forces is pushing the tire inwards, or outwards. Tire flex is allowing weight of the car to move past center position on tire, Can this be limited by the tire pressure run in the tire? 

 
Me tinks so.

I've ran my paddle as high as 20psi and doubt they move as much as when I run very low psi. 

 
Yes running a higher pressure will stiffen the the sidewall.  However, that will cause the tire edge to catch more and also be a harsher ride. 

 
To a degree.

Buddy had a slice in this paddle, patched it from the inside and outside, ran 16psi and the patch didn't hold.

I guess if you ran a ton of pressure that will help, but based on what we saw, you would have to run a lot.
