Ram truck

Thanks. It seemed too nuts.

It's real.... It's a Dodge, not a chevy.... I think there are quite a few videos of those trucks crashing attempting these launches...

If it was on the internet then it is 100% real!

:bag:

:lmao:

um yeah, totally fake but the graphics on these video games are getting better!

No doubt.  and those pictures that @fng, posted up.............. super hard to tell they are not real....  Skynet working 24/7...........

Regarding the video, I think it would have to have some serious performance enhancements to do what the video shows.

Well maybe this is a good place to make an announcement that I bought a 2021 Ram Crew Cab 4x4 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel yesterday.

When I joined this website and got into off-roading in 2018, I was surprised with what kind of equipment people buy to come to the dunes, like big trucks and toy haulers.  I had my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, and my small flat bed trailer, and that was it.  I didn't know anything about diesels, and the name Mega Desert Diesel really caught my attention.  I even saw this huge customized diesel pickup one day on the I10 (it may have been a 5500), and I half-jokingly said to myself "Maybe THAT is the Mega Desert Diesel!!?".

Anyway, even though this purchase was not all about off-roading, now I have my 2500 diesel.  And driving it home from the dealer last night, even though I wasn't trying to push it, I felt that turbo power.

Hennessey turns them up to 1K HP, but it's full-time AWD and very heavy, so not a wheelstander.

This is real and the range is 500 miles.

500 miles is the perfect range, you will never get it.

Should be real interesting over the next few years when you can't get anything but a EV even though there is no way they can produce/ install enough infrastructure between now and then to allow them to be charged, and we won't even go into the supply chain issues of what it takes to make the EV's themselves.

I'd never buy a Dodge anyways.

But it's cool to see the tech keep raising the bar.

"speed..cough cough.."

CONGRATS BUDDY!!! That’s awesome, you’re gonna love that truck. Just don’t put the def fluid in the fuel tank like a buddy of mine did in his ford. Now You gotta start a thread and post some pictures! Can’t wait to see it.

Congrats!  I own a '21 3500.  It's a nice truck and does everything I want it to do effortlessly.  However, I miss my '04.5 HO 6speed 4x4 everyday.  Do yourself and your wallet a favor, don't follow Carli or CJC Offroad on IG.

The mandates are partial EV by 2035, ICE will march on for a while yet.

Thanks for your comments.  Can you give me a little more info on your "Carli or CJC Offroad on IG" advice.  I googled CJC Offroad just now and there seems to be a lot of content.

Thanks for your congrats and advice about the def fluid, which I still need to learn about.  Here's a pretty decent photo.

Use Thuren's aligment specs, most importantly setting toe to just about zero. Dodge specs way too much toe-in for a straight axle setup. If the shop won't deviate from factory specs find a different shop.
