PSA-While getting gas...WATCH OUT-LOCK YOUR DOORS!

My wife was up in Oakland for work this past week. While at the gas station filling up her rental, some F**KING A**HOLES pulled up on the opposite side, got out opened up the driver's side door and stole her purse, and then they got a laptop and a bag from another car and another laptop from a 3rd car!

My wife was on the passenger side fueling up, then saw this punk in her car. It happened so quick but my wife ran after the car yelling every obscenity's at them!

She would have effing destroyed the punk had she caught him!

Luckily they didn't get her phone and she called me all frantic.

Filed a police report with 2 other guys that had their chit stolen too.

So, now she had to show up at the airport with no ID... :kenk:

Luckily they let her on the plane but by way of doing every search possible on her and her stuff!

Now we have had the joy of cancelling, re-ordering new cards, they have a house key, and our address so I re-Keyed the whole house yesterday.

She feels so violated and upset! Poor thing couldn't sleep last night...just kept playing the day over in her head!

I'm just thankful she's ok. But now we're worried about the fraud chit!

EFFING THIEVES ARE THE WORST!!!!!

Please, when you are at the gas station, lock your doors...tell your Wives'/Girlfriends Especially!

Sucks man, glad she is ok.

Such BS, this is a thing in that part of the Bay Area, its REALLY BAD up there. Have not heard of it happening down here, yet.

My wife has actually been asking what it would take to be armed, be able to carry. It's shitty out there these days. She's never been a big fan of guns, until lately.

She was in a rental and had to fill it up for the return at the airport.

When she's at home, I fill up her car usually.

Teach her to lock all doors while fueling up / always have your hand on the pump and quickly be able to pull it out and pull back the safety and be able to douse anyone threating them with gasoline from head to toe. You would be surprised how differently someone who is covered in fuel behaves

That SUCKS she had to go thru that / Its unreal how dangerous getting gas has become. Dirt bags EVERYWHERE wanting $$$ and getting aggressive. Its NUTS

We have gone soo far over the edge that I am not sure it can ever be corrected. 

I told my kids and wife / LOCKED Doors / head on a swivel / Look for a way out and always have hand on pump soo you can rip it out and use it against an attacker......sucks but its the new reality

Shitty! glad your wife is okay.

Stopped one time in Oakland for gas about 7-8 years ago.... was so sketchy.  Will never stop off the freeway in that town again.

I lived 1/2 hour from there (in a 'nice' area of the Gay area) and the whole area has gone to chit in the last 4-5 years.  All the DA's are soft on crime which has just emboldened the f'n thugs.  The local (contra costa county) sheriff is so sick of the lib DA that he has 'retaliated' by issuing CCW permits to almost anyone who want one (even in my lib county).  I decided to stop swimming upstream in the cesspool and just moved to NV.   Open carry and no magazine restrictions makes everyone very polite around these parts.......

My wife would have been more then happy to issue that fVck a little bit of lead poisoning... I have a few slurs I could use for these ____e_s

The important thing is your wife is okay. Good job in getting the house key changed.

I thought that having a car with the gas tank fill on the passenger side was an advantage. Things like not banging the door on the pump or bumpers and shorter wait times. Thanks for sharing the disadvantages. I have told the family what the scum of the earth is up to now.
