Nice shots! Are you using something longer than the 100-400mm? I'm asking because of how tight some of these shots are.

I'm using a Canon 7D MKll with the 100-400 lens. Close ups are tough! lol Some of the guys were coming along side the crowd for smooth runs. No whoops next to the crowd.

Ah, so that's like equivalent to 640mm on the long end with that camera. That explains it. I believe we've got shots of you running the drags as well :). Jacob is super busy with school, but will get to processing them eventually.

I went down a few times. Slow! But the roller whoops were huge and I'm not a drags fan unless its flat! lol Glad to here he's going to school. I'm sure Jacob's pics are twice as good as mine.

Wasn't there to long. I got to G on Saturday about 10am. So I missed the Friday crowd. Was duning a lot. First time to the drags in a while. A year or 2!

Those are some awesome shots appreciate you sharing them the crop duster was an amazing shot at 60 mph 👍
 
These are great shots man! Thanks for taking the time to not only snap them but go through them, post them etc. Lots of time involved there. Appreciate it! Looking at em' I feel like I'm right there! Love me some cars!!

I'm surprised none of those guys ended up wearing a beer can or twelve with that. They'd hug the curve of the crowd and gas it in the turn, roosting a couple hundred people each time. LOL
 
These are amazing photos. You must have the very best camera. My hobby was photography in 2000 and I had a medium format film camera plus a cheap Canon. I obviously could not take resolution like this no matter what the exposure time or shutter speed was.

Can't believe those Cyber Trucks drag racing each other!
