My home and auto policies went up significantly.  When I called for an explanation, I was told that the increase of $429/yr for home is due directly to inflation and the increase in replacement cost of materials.  Similar for auto.

It seems that this is bound to affect us all in someway or another.

Just like everything else... insurance rates are unfortunately going up!

a little warning from an industry insider.... Auto insurance specifically going way up next year.

I pay my premiums on an annual basis and just paid mine. The house went up slightly but my auto policies actually went down by a couple hundred bucks.

I guess I have a year before I break out the lube.

If you haven't traveled a lot, wait until you see Hotel prices.  $200 a night is the norm in not a very nice hotel now, double of what it was before Covid.
