Possible scammer

I had a WTB ad for a weight distribution hitch and got a message from @playdsd who seems to be a new member.  He sent me an message to email a guy who had one for sale. I emailed the seller and all the responses seemed fishy from the guy. Anyway I thought I’d put this out there since there’s a new scam everywhere we look. If I’m wrong I apologize and will remove this ad. 

 
WTB ads always get scammed.  That's one of the oldest ones.  "Email this guy, he has what you need"

 
I don't get this one. How does a scammer getting you to email someone do them any good? Couldn't the first d1ckhead send you the fake pics?

 
I got the same sort of thing...Pretty much the exact wording.

Then I asked, can you send me a pic....

I got a pic of a carb-adapter....

I said that isn't what I want, I want an engine adapter.

Can you send me a pic of what you want.....

I assume that they were going find a pic of an engine adapter on the net and send it to me.
