Our local superbloom

Nope. Haven't owned a dirt bike since 1986. LOL.   

We got some of that going on down here in San Diego. Mostly just green. Out near Borrego there is a bit though. Really cool to see.

Ok. I am in North San Bernardino in the foothills.

 
I don't think these are intentionally planted for soil erosion, it happens hhere whenever there is a wet winter. My wife's grandma used to tell us about going to see them "all of the time". Thye owned a place in Borrego.
