I'm looking for an optometrist who is familiar with shooting sports and can make knowledgeable recommendations for frames and prescriptions.

I'm in san diego, but would drive.

Thanks

Warning, I got squared away and still shot like shiat, hard to blame it on 13 scopes and 9 iron sights being off.

If you get dialed in don’t tell your friends / shooting buddies about your new glasses / contacts, keep the excuse of “can’t see shiat” / “damn bulk ammo” and “my Korean azz AIDS are acting up”in your back pocket!

Who would have known that taking up a new hobby would have so many side projects.

I went to see Dr Rex yesterday.   SUPER nice guy.  Turns it he is also from Hawaii (although he is from the big island and I'm from Oahu)

Turns out I got a lot going on, it's all just getting older.   He got me a prescription for all of my needs and I will go back later to find frames.  They stayed open about a half hour after closing because he was explaining it all to me.

He sold his practice to his son, so he is only there 2 or 3 days a week.  If you want to see him make sure to ask for him.

Yeah, went to HS with Aaron.  Also a super nice guy.

Does he dune as well?  Dr. Rex is in the process of moving all of his stuff from is 40 year old buggy into a "new" frame.  He said he would not get through a weekend without having to weld something back together.  LOL.

Not sure, haven't talked to him since HS. Talked to his dad more...

and BOY does his dad know how to talk....................  LOL.

"She (the manager from the front office) is going to come in & yell @ me again for talking too much, dont worry".  LOL.

I did not mind a bit, he explained all of these terms that you hear all of the time.  why it happens, what happens, how you fix them, etc.
