ONAN 4000 won't run/start??

Went to storage to fire up the SXS's and the generator to keep them fresh, etc. My Onan 4000 initially started and only ran for a few minutes and wouldn't restart. Has plenty of gas and the light for the starter was blinking red 4 times. Any idea what my issue is?

Yup I waited too long between running it… also forgot you have to run it with ‘load’ …. AC .. etc

Run seafoam through it and if that doesn’t work, new carb on Amazon…. $50

I just got one from Amazon about two weeks ago. It wasn't OEM though.

Was giving my 4000 the monthly workout and when I came back about 15 minutes later generator had shut off. Ended up being the fuel pump. So one other thing to add to the list.

Those orifices are so tiny. Almost impossible to clean. After figuring that out replaced with new one. No issue since. Always drain gas in carb after use!
