This Saturday is the annual OMBAC Over-The-Line BEERFEST!! It is an over the line tournament and beerfest all in one! The OTL tourney is sold out but you can still get tickets to enjoy the BEERFEST. It is this Saturday May 13, 2023 at Mariners Point (across from Bahia Hotel). One of the few chances to enjoy a cold beer with your feet on the sand. Tickets are at Events.com. Also a side note: The OMBAC world Championship tournament in July will have a Glove division this year! This is something new we are doing to try and promote the game to new players. It is perfect for all those softball players!

WTH!! I’ve had a few busted fingers and swollen hands after 20yrs+ of otl and this is how you repay the dedicated! Gloves!?! What’s next bigger balls move the line closer!? When was the last time the tournament needed more teams? 

Either way don’t care I’ll be there!

Hahaha, there are a lot of OMBAC members that didn't like the idea either. I am a traditionalist and had a hard time with it (I am on the OTL Committee) but change is needed to keep the game going. The team count has been dropping over the last 5 or so years. We (OMBAC) are really trying to get new players out in the sand. Hopefully after playing a little with the glove, they will want to try it without a glove. But honestly, we played with gloves all winter and it was NICE not having sore fingers. LOL IF the glove division takes off......I might just join in :) 

 
I've never wanted to catch a line drive foul ball either. Peace
