Northstar rear drive help please

I am going to install a rear drive trans behind my Northstar and have found many trans options but I am needing help with the starter.  What trans option will work with either stock starter location or remote?

Factory location is under intake manifold in the valley.

What transmission are you planning to use?

VW, Mendi, PBS, Fortin, Albins all of these have the starter mounted at the transmission side aka "remote"

or a factory Auto TH425 FWD, this would use the factory location

If you are taking about a mid-engine sandrail, your only option is a VW bell housing with an adapter plate.. the starter will be on the trans bell housing.
