Newbie question, wife wants a four seat razor to chase the kids on their quads, how many hours and miles are too many?

Not looking for a turbo, looking for simplicity.

Main toy will still be the buggy.

Any thoughts?

It’s not about hours it’s about how it was maintained. Ask the owner about maintenance and what/how they did it. If they can walk you through oil/diff fluid changes with ease I would feel more comfortable. Then look over the frame at the stress points for any signs of cracks and you should be good to go.

Ask them where they mostly rode? Then look at the bottom of the skid plates. You can learn allot by just doing that.

I recently looked at a used machine. The plastics did not match what was left of the skid plates. I couldn't see the air filter under all the dirt in the airbox.
Do you know someone that owns that same model that would look at used machines with you?

Thanks for the info, I went and looked at a couple, WOW what a bunch of beat machines.
