Hello - We recently picked up our first Funco!  Few questions to get through the balance of the season 🤣

2007 Gen 4, Chassis #157.  C&G LS2.

  1. What do most run for tire pressure (standard not wet etc.), front and rear.
  2. What air bag pressure, front and rear.
  3. What is the fuel tank size.
  4. Any special fluid in the power steering?

THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!!!

Travis!

I have a V6 turbo with intercooler so a bunch of crap hanging on it very similar in weight to your car. I run 40 in the front and 45 in the rear on the airbags. Stock tank is 15 gallons. I like the Lucas power steering fluid personally. But I do have the factory Nissan pump that was set up to change the pressures for the Funco rack. Lee's power steering set it up for me. Shouldn't really matter though. I also have a filter in the system and change out the fluid and filter periodically.

I've been running 35 in the front and 40 in the rear for the bags, usually just myself and teenage daughters. I did take 3 other adults for a ride and if we'd been trying to really have some fun I would've had to up both front and rear by at least 5 pounds each. 10 in the front and 15 in the rear for tires. This a new to me car so that's why I'm running the rears at 15. If I knew the history of the transmission I'd probably run the rears at 10 when it's dry and then pump them up to 15 after it rains. I've heard the fronts do well at 8 but just haven't had a chance to try it. 15 gallons for the stock tank sounds about right. For the power steering I just got the stuff labeled for GM motors. I've got the Northstar though, so not sure of the weight difference between that and the LS motors.

Nice looking car, and garage!!

Congrats, you are gonna love that car. My gen 4  Ls2/S4S sequential. I run 9.5 in the front tires 15 in the rear, the bags well I found fresh sand 42/52  if it is holiday chopped up I bump it up 10 lbs so far. my tank is a 20 gal tank for fuel and she thirsty. Run it, enjoy it... Cheers..
