New to me 1987 trx250r purchase and build process

Perfect time to get that case and cylinder polished up !

Ya, that place can have some real idiots sometimes Forest service cops included
Yeah. I had one bombing down the hill. I stopped, he slid to within 1’ of me.

Got out and yelled at ME to slow down. Uh, I was completely stopped way before you broseph.

I have saved these parts from my 250r I sold thinking some day I will build another .
I have a desert tank IMS w/ a real carbon fiber Quad Tech cover and billet BRP cap . Probably will never find another cover . I want $450 firm for the 3 pieces . Last time I seen a quad tech tank cover it was for stock size on eBay was $400 alone .
Also have random stuff stock carb , tail light , air box lid , foot pegs , stock key ,
Paul’s Cool head. I’d let it all go including the tank for $500 . You pay shipping .

The carb is stock and head stock CC . I had ESR build a 330 and used there carb and billet and cool head

Thanks

I have to replace the clutch on my 450R and was looking at Hinson, is there any advantage to their setups over stock?

Hinson is a better clutch in every way over stock. That being said, if your bike is stock and you don’t abuse the clutch, the Hinson clutch is not really necessary. How long has the stock clutch lasted?
