New telephone for house

That cord looks like it'll make it to the fridge. Peace
Easy we have a small house, the cord is 25 ft, now I think I should have the 50 ft cord.

the great thing about this phone is it will never be dead or lost, a real time saver

What is this, 1980?

Having flashback of my mother cooking and talking on the phone with the 100 ft cord trap throught the kitchen or sister with phone outside with door closed.

Just forward business line to cell or your CB radio!

Kind of funny story about this...........  My wifes grandma had "rented" a phone from the phone company for no-one knows how long.  when she passed away, the phone bill came in & it had "equipment rental", $1.38 (or something equally silly).  best we could tell, she was paying them $1.38/month for 40 years...........  her husband took care of the bills & when he passed away (in the early 80's) she just did what he did & did not question it.  Pac-Bell made some money on that phone.  LOL.

It's amazing how everything comes full circle. Toss the cell phones go back to the wall phone! Peace

We still have a land line...pretty much just for our alarm.

But in case where Cell towers are down, land line is good to have.

At least get a rotary phone @In Excess !

:lmao:

Not quite, nobody calls this number except spam callers, mostly used to get the house gate open if somebody rings the call button.

there is a separate gate and multiple lines in the office at the shop behind the house.

the cell phones ring of hook day and night, that’s what happens when our customers work 24/7 365 days a year

I thought the same thing, however....  all of the analog phones are actually digital up to the point where it comes in to your house.  Power goes out and cell phone goes down, so does land line (or soon there after).

Well now we know what phone is in the command center

I used to have 4 land lines for my home business, now I just use my cell… and never answer the phone 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤣
