Wife and I needed something to pull behind the moho and what better than a Jeep? Wife wanted a stock jeep, after I stopped snickering I started looking, knew I wanted the 3.6 motor, 4 door, Rubicon - cause I wanted the Dana 44 and didn't want to swap them out if I got the Sport or Sahara. Budget started out at $25k, wasn't finding much so went up to $35k and came in less than that.

Found a 2012 Rubicon in Phoenix, lots of txt's, emails and talking to the guy, then I asked @Squatcher if he could go take a look and considering what he had to say (he knows how I am and what I was looking for) the seller and I struck a deal. Borrowed my old flatbed from @Grease Monkey and hit the road to Phoenix to do the turn around. Deal went as planned and had no troubles there and back.

Brought home an ATC70 for @Poule43 that Squatcher for him.

It has a lot already done to it and needs just a few things to make it ours: slider/steps, few interior addons, and some gear for the road & trail.

Has a BDS lift (3 or 4''), Fox shocks, PSC Hydro Steering, over sized drag link and tie rod, front XRS bumper with winch and Roadmaster tow bar, rear bumper is a DV8 with swing away spare tire carrier, 37'' Goodyears, Fenders, inside fender liners.

Inside: leather heated seats, auto, rear rack/tray in the back. All in good condition. Nice Camel color and black.

Thanks for looking and I'll take any tips and tricks for wheeling and practical addons - I don't need any goofy crap

Went up to Santiago Peak the other day just to get it dirty. Lots of flex in the suspension - no pics of that.

Very nice, congrats!

We drove a jeep around all last weekend...went thru a complete tank in 5 days....really liked it except one thing....I could not see any skyline from the low roof/bar.

That a common complaint? Any fix for a 6ft guy like me?

Otherwise was a fun ride.

That thing is sweet but all of that interior Grey has to go. PlastiDip is your friend. Lol

Nice find congrats

Looks like it has most everything you need already we love the solid grab handles I put them in for my wife but find that I use them quite often. Enjoy they are a great tow vehicle and you can explore just about anywhere your travels might take you we have towed ours all over the western states
