She passed away today at 96, lived a long life. Pretty fricken awesome I had a grandma until I was 55.

I will say things went to hell with Covid being stuck at home made her very week but she lived on her own until about a year ago when dimentia kicked in, prettty sad ending she didn’t know anybody but my parents this year.

she wasn’t supposed to make it to last Christmas, but she fought to the end. We had her playing golf last Christmas. She had been bed ridden most of this year

Badass!

That is awesome.   Congratulations for such an awesome roll model.

RIP to your grandma, dont want to upstage you but my mother in law is 92 lives alone in her house, still loves to garden and walks miles every day, yes she needs help with a lot of stuff she does not drive anymore but she has 2 daughters that help out, she is my rock star

She worked stocking shelves at night at walmart until 1 or 2 am until she was 88. She got fired for clocking out and going back to dust the shelves off, they weren’t impressed. She got into an accident which was not her fault but she could not tell us if she stopped at stop sign or not, she did not get another car after that.

Now that is a downright slapptacious grandma. Rest in peace grandma, you are no doubt a bad ass.❤️

RIP Grandma.  My grandma was my rock.  Only the best moms are promoted.

RIP Grandma! Awesome life to celebrate. Peace

It's a blessing to have someone like that in your life for that long

RIP Grandma ...
^^^^^^^^ THIS!!!

That is so awesome @In Excess

I haven't had grand parents since I was 17...lost my dad's mom then. His dad died when I was 12 and I never knew my mom's parents since they both died before I was born.

So many things to learn from them and ask them...the stories, just their lives in general!

For all of you that still have your grandparents, I hope you are in a place to really talk with them, be there with them....Learn from them!!!

Savor the moments cause they won't last forever!

RIP @In Excess grandma!!!
