If all they played right now was country and classic rock videos of the day, I'd watch it again. That's my playlist all day on Spotify.

I kinna liked Catfished. But even that got old after awhile.

They should have never stopped showing music vids.

Even if they didn't stop it would still be over. Nobody is going to sit in front of the TV waiting for them to play the latest Megadeth video or their favorite Def Lepard video, why because they just go to youtube and watch what video they want when they want

I suppose streaming had something to do with it.

And the fact there are so many different genra's now!

MTV’s parent company, Paramount Global, plans to shut down five MTV-branded music channels in the U.K. and parts of Europe by December 31, 2025. The affected channels include MTV Music, MTV 80s, MTV 90s, MTV Live, and Club MTV, long-running networks that played nonstop hits, classic throwbacks, and live performances.
