Mountain Lion Vs Deer In Alpine CA

Animals do some violent things outside the city limits. 

 
Yea..... super strange to see wildlife in a natural Forrest  ...  LOL 

We had a cougar or lion at lake Murray this winter.  Coyotes sure....  lion.... not in the 33 years we have lived here.  But the park is just right there... 

 
We have one roaming around our neighborhood.  I've almost hit it with my car, and my neighbor has a picture of it drinking out of their pool.  We definitely keep an eye on the Pug when we let him out... 

 
Mountain Lions have huge areas they roam, my area sees one about once a year, I figure they are just making their yearly rounds.  Bobcats seems to be multiplying though, seeing them a lot more.

Yeah.  And they're getting bolder.  One sat under the truck and watched me assemble the motor for my Jeep on a 100* day.

 
we have noticed in our area, that when we have a good wet winter the predators stick down by the lake/park because there is plenty of food for them.  When its a super dry winter......... LOTS of "have you seen fifi" signs go up...... 

 
who records the front of their trailer from the back of their truck?

Why dont you see the deer when he jumps down?

A lot of dash cams have a front and rear camera.  Probably his daily.
