my grandfather flew experimental stuff for the navy and had a number of encounters with things that moved like no known technology.  a lot of his flight logs and planes are now declassified.

Yep.  DoD confirmed it a couple of years ago.  News reported it, then immediately moved back to 24/7 "Shet Trump Said" coverage.

Yet every person between the age of 11 and 80 now has a video camera in their pocket at all times, that records in like 4K and yet the best pictures we get have worse fidelity than 1950's porn.

I was up last night with a hangover and non stop playing of this hearing on the news.  Lots of nothing until we get some real footage and live shots.

Once you have an understanding how infinite and old our universe is, it starts to seem impossible that they're visiting this tiny rock. One things for sure, If they are visiting, they're definitely traveling more than the speed of light, probably wormholes or another dimension. That's the part that would trip me out.. Not that there's other life forms out there.
