Glad to know my CO2 alarm works!!!
1st - middle of season, outlet part of muffler cracked do to hanger breaking and going unnoticed. rehung and used some muffler sealant on the crack best I could, used it rest of season.
2nd- a couple weeks ago saw the tail pipe suspended from hanger but laying on ground, it broke off at that crack all the way....
3rd- went to remove muffler in hopes to just have it welded, found it had broke on the down pipe from the exhaust port as well.
My idea is to seal the hole above the flange(put there for different applications) with rubber and hose clamps or??, Use a down pipe (maybe 5 inches) from the flange and then flexible exhaust tubing from that to the inlet of a muffler I'll have to mount under there somehow with the tail pipe coming out of that.
or
cut off the flange and run the flexible exhaust tubing above the hole to the inlet of the muffler...
Anyone have any other ideas...?
Thanks,
