good morning folks,  I guess the guy I was using retired & moved out of state.  Does anyone have any suggestions on mobile Window Tinting in San Diego? 

My office is in Mira Mar, but I live by SDSU.

san diego auto tint off of miramar rd. I’ve used their location by my shop on 4 cars (tints, retints and even had a windshield replaced there too) very happy with the relults. They go mobile too

Tyler has always been great to me. He’s done a couple dozen vehicles for me, a few RV’s and one of my homes. 

 
These guys aren’t mobile but they do great work. SD TINT on University @ Massachusetts. Been there 30+ years

He's used a Sharpie to fill in gaps from short tint cuts on most of the rest of this website's vehicles. It's all good.

Since he screwed me over (on two vehicles), I found someone that uses better tint (twice as thick, twice the quality) and actually likes to tint vehicles. He charges half of what Tyler does and the quality of the finished job is 2-3 times better.

Can confirm this. It was also pretty rad when the tint he used turned purple in very short order. Lesson learned.

Mine never turned purple, did get a lot of vertical racing stripes from scratches though.

 
Actually the peanut gallery has been quiet on this one. I remember a time when if anyone so much as hinted that Tyler wasn't Jesus himself then the pitchforks came out immediately.

My standards seem to be on the low side? My knee jerk reaction is you have that backwards because I wouldn’t drive the pos that tint was adhered to. I can tell by the door panel that it’s a vehicle I would donate to the United Negros College Fund.

Maybe you rolled your window down before you were supposed to? Maybe he did it on purpose because you come across holier than thou and he thinks you are a prick kinda like I’m thinking right now?

Either way, I can’t handle this level of stupidity.

Just because you didn’t have a good experience doesn’t mean that you should insult others because they had nothing but great experiences. 
 

Anywho, you can go eat a dikk and then go fukk yourself if you have any energy afterwards.

Tyler has always done me right. If there is a problem, he will stand up and make it right.

on that note, I hope whoever had an issue with his work, that you properly contacted him and made him aware of said issue. If he did not take care of it, shame on him.... If you didnt contact him and give him a chance, shame on you... Dont bitch about it

While I enjoy a good old fashion internet fight Id simply like to get the windows tinted on my wifes car.  If we really need a "these guys suck" thread, I will start another one.  but........... thanks for keeping my thread @ the top.  LOL.
