Meta Outage

I got Facebook, no Instagram.  I flip through Facebook a shet ton throughout the day and more and more I ask myself "why".  nothing but pure B.S.  I steal a great meme once in a while, laugh at a funny here and there.  I like getting some overseas news headlines.  But otherwise, its garbage.  If you even slow down to take a glance at something, your feed gets pummeled with associated junk.

Marketplace is decent to buy crap I don't need.

I'm with @Cookie And turn off everyones phones. Yellow Pages / Phone Booths / Quarters. Life was so much easier. Plus......Superman and the Matrix had a place to go. Peace

I got rid of FB a while ago.  I thought I would miss it & for the most part I dont.  with 40 or 50 "friends" only one called me to find out WTF.......... 

the only thing I do "miss" is not being able to use the FB Marketplace.  but my wife still has FB so............... I still have access if I really need it.

just do it...........

FWIW you're missing out on a lot of potential knowledge and deals if you don't use Facebook....  It's not just about having "Friends" and posting meaningless information - there's marketplace to buy things, groups to learn, etc.  It's a tool to learn things and hunt for deals on items you want to buy.

Example -I'm a member of 4 or 5 C10 groups that have in some cases 40k members...pictures of builds, parts for sale, etc.  Found my truck on there for a great deal.
