16 year old Cash Shaleen has been severely injured in a hit and run in Glamis, California. The US National DH Champion was airlifted to Desert Regional Hospital where he has undergone surgery for a broken back (TII-L2), a spinal cord injury, and a broken femur.

Sad story, hope that kid fully recovers.

Dangerous place to stop, story was he had UTV issue and got nailed by a suspected UTV Driver racing up the hill that fled the scene.

They seem to know all the folks involved, no fault zone unfortunately.
