I have a buddy with a mild SBC that he needs a machine shop to do basic work.  Any suggestions?

It's your basic 350 with a single 4 barrel, factory block, mild cam, etc...

way back in the day we used to use Ed Hale out in east county, but that was a LONG time ago.

My neighbor bought a 22R from WAM in allied gardens years ago & that worked out well.  solid, ran good, etc.  anyone use them?

My buddy has a couple of shops in North County and they take their stuff to WAM. I remember the Ed Hale days as well, he was the go to guy.

Me too.  GREAT dude.  His was a gem too.  Super helpful when I was building my efi stroker motor.

ARCE on prospect in santee
Seconded.  Hell, he even warned me that if my LM7's heads were Castech he wouldn't work on it because there was a decent chance they'd crack on me after machining (GM casting flaw).   Price was right, work was good, delivery schedule as promised.

ARCE in Santee. Dave will tell ya tho, prepared to wait as they are busy as EFF! Took 6 or 7 weeks to get the heads turned around for my 4.7 Jeep toward the end of last year.
