LT4 vs LT7 in a G-Body….what says you?

A shop is building a custom ride for me and I can’t decide on which to choose.  Shop, of course, says LT7.  What says you?

Pros and cons of each?

The LT4 is available and supported in the aftermarket. Good luck finding an LT7 since they are not out yet. I was looking to do an LT6 on my next build, but its still not available in a crate engine. Plus, its had some issues.....

Go to Nelson Racing Engines. He has the best packages for high HP......  

 
What year G-body?

What trans?  

I was thinking about going the same in this body... .

No had some interest this is the only place I’ve posted it for sale  and I’m a good 10hr drive from ca,az

Wife wasn't having it.  One of two times during our 23-year marriage that she has put her foot down.

It's not like I'd sell it to you for $50k for you to flip it here to another member for $75k.

The Atlanta guys and South Carolina shops seem to have a way of getting what they want.  I say that based on what they've built.
