Anyone have any hookups or reasonable place to buy injectors for a 2003  LB-7 Chevy duramax. The motor is torn down to rebuild the top end and my injectors currently have about 80,000 miles on them. I believe it would be smart to replace them now. Just trying to find them for a good price. Anyone????

i would buy new not rebuilt just because they are a pia to change in the truck and i know a few people that have had issues with rebuilds

I got mine from a place in San Luis Obispo area. They had the OEM ones for a great deal. I apoligize but I forgot the name as it was some time ago. Maybe search and see whates up that way.

The place in SLO is https://www.injectorsdirect.com. OEM is pricey compared to their reman injectors for the LB7. I'd go with brand new OEM's because I personally prefer that, but I have had friends with good success on reman injectors from them. Here is another company that does reman injectors https://dieselinjectorssocal.com, they were in the inland empire but moved to Texas recently. My uncle in-law went with their remans on his LLY and hasn't had issues for the past 50k miles.

Thanks Guys

I am pricing a few of these shops and will let you know who I go with, These darn duramax are a pain in the butt to replace the injectors , And now that I have the motor torn down it would be silly not to replace them with 90,000 on this set.

Yes / Thats the place.......

What happened to it that you've got it pulled down at 80k?
Well the truck & motor  has 180k +, But the current injectors have 80k on them,  1 of the injectors I believe, failed and caused one of the cylinders to fill and then it went into a hydro lock . It broke a pushrod and now it is time for a fresh top end.
