I love to ride the huge bowls, some of them are connected I use to go around turning left for a couple laps to get my speed up (fifth gear) then where they connect swing over to the connecting bowl going the opposite direction. DON~~~

Long travel rails hadn't been around long at that point. There were all sorts of experimental suspension designs from extended VW beams and trailing arms, J arm front ends, and all manner of home build stuff like what that thing might have been. Back then, it was people trying new ideas and it was cool. There were wildly different designs out there, all leading toward where we are today.
