Great guy, sucks this stuff happens to our fellow duners. Bought my first set of rigid LED bars right out the back of that truck years ago! 

 
The treatments must be brutal…beat that cancer lovesdunes.  Pulling hard for you.  

 
DONE! As someone who's dad battled and beat effing throat cancer, I'm in on this one. Get Well Pete!

Wow, seems like life speeds up as you age....the good ones are all getting taken. RIP Sir.....such a huge loss for everyone close to him... and the community. Prayers for the family.
 
I am so sad by this. I never met Pete in person, but over the years we had something in common, Messing with photoshop and doing paint schemes for people on the board.
Every once in a while, we would get into some hilarious battles.
I am at such a loss for words right now.
RIP Pete! true legend.

I have said it before, I have friends on here whom I have never met in person...this site is more than just about dunes...it's about people and you never know who or what will impact your life!

This community lost a great one!

Literally ran into him years back when something fell off his truck. Dude immediately stopped to make sure I was okay and my truck was fine. Didn’t realize it was him until he got out.

Stand up dude, RIP Duner. Sad news.

RIP Pete

Pete was a great guy, he helped me set up my 97 OBS Ford so it wouldn't ride like a skateboard, it was a night and day difference when we were done! We were messaging about 6 months ago about solar. Bummed to hear about this, we lost a good one.
 
Life is short, appreciate all the good / bad moments it provides.

Tough times make goodtimes even sweeter.

This has been on my mind allot lately 😕
