Anyone in here own a place at either RV park and care to give some feedback?  With the recession coming into play I have been thinking about getting a place in either of these parks.  We have younger kids so I kinda dig the community atmosphere and private ramps/docks that come with it.  Most of our friends have RV's so it would be nice that others could easily join us if we plan far enough in advance.

We have done a full range of places, and I always enjoy being right on the water most vs having to deal with a public ramp and trailer back to the house.  I figure cost is about a wash being they have monthly lease, but you get some added perks for that.

Interesting perspective. We have been looking in LHC for a few years now. Boy, I wish I would of bought before COVID and the when the prices doubled. But the houses are slowly coming back down to reality. I think everything needs/will to drop another 10%-20%.

I personally would stay away from the island.  You get more for your buck on the "mainland".

There are a lot of houses for sale right now and yes, they are coming down.  Why not find a nice place in town with an RV/boat barn and a pool?  At least make your money work for you rather than pay HOA/land fees.

Crazy Horse is more of a party. And beachcomber is more rules.

space rent for both places is around a grand a month and that does not included electricity. granted there are variables on that number but thats the number ive been hearing talked about around town in general.

as far as docks/ramps.. crazy horse is the best for those. the ramp at sams is shallow and there are no docks, or beaches really. the islander is another option also.

x2, we are happy we bought a place long term. launch ramps close by, open desert also close by.

pool is a must if you are going to spend summer months there
