King of the Hammers.... don't forget the King of the Hammers starts today.... with the king of the Motos FREE on Youtube.

I was planning on going this year but cold shitty weather aint gonna happen (just left that stuff).
 
Would have been EPIC if the King of the Motos was today..........talk about Zero finishers....
 
Our group is thinking about going, never been and no idea where to camp or park.
Anybody got any tips...or is it just show up like any other.
 
Lots of tips, try to get there as early as possible, camping to the left of the entry gate fills up pretty fast.... Bad weather open ups more spots..They park from the gate on Boone road all the way to Hammer town....camping on the right by the lakebed is likely sketcy this year. Bring warm clothes... Whips and lights....take it slow there are Aholes everywhere. Got the top of chocolate thunder....to watch, turkey claw, backdoor and chock thunder are fun after hours.

We camp between Hammertown and Back door. Easy access to trails, walk into town in the morning for a free Monster, watch the race of the day start, drop a duce, head out for the day...
 
I've only gone for the 2nd annual, many many moons ago. It was the bestest shit ever. Spectators on the course lol the night shenanigans were definitely crazy.
 
Leaving Sunday to head out for the week. One of my favorite trips of the year. The weather next week is shaping up to be great.
