Does the bypass screw all the way in equal any number of steps thicker shim stack (next size thicker or two sizes thicker stack for example) than when the screw is all the way out? IE a bypass shock with the screw all the way out with a 15 thousands shim stack would feel the same as the same shock with a X shim stack and screw all the way in?
Or is there not any correlation?

Man, that's a hornets nest of a question. I'll start it off.

According to King, when the bypass is fully open the shims are ~20% engaged. With that logic I would think a 15 stack with tubes all the way open feels like a 10 stack... total guess though

Thanks the info appreciate it!
I wasn’t trying to bust open a hornets nest or cause a disagreement, just trying to make an educated guess as to which size shim stacks to buy.
