Melvin Gerald “Jerry” Bickel, of Troy, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Jennifer Bickel; devoted son of the late Melvin and Birdie Bickel; loving father of Katherine Elizabeth (Marty) Randolph and Matthew Bickel; cherished grandfather of Rhys Randolph and Colin Randolph.
Jerry grew up in the Florissant area. He worked at Troy Motors and later Marquiz Motors for several years. He started Jerry Bickel Racecars over 40 years ago. He was a scuba diver, flew helicopters and loved boating.
Jerry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorials may be made in Jerry’s name to PALS Animal Shelter.
