Cooked a 17.5 lb brisket last night into this morning for dinner tonight! Doing an annual on my airplane. Installed the magnetos, changed oil, compression checked, etc.. Getting ready to go to work for the summer.

Started getting a head cold... tried fighting it off with whiskey and beers, spent Saturday recovering from both. Today was spring cleaning in the backyard that has been neglected since the beginning of the season. About to rip out 4 hibiscus trees and quit dealing with the white flies trying to take them over... or buy stock in neem oil.

Saturday morning I saw a Slide from a kids playground that was in great condition, next to someone's trash pile down the street (very similar to the one posted above). Spent the afternoon digging/installing it into the Grandparents hillside.
Within 20 minutes, the kiddo was sliding head first and eating shit into the dirt, all whilst laughing and smiling.
My job was done, quickly.
