Its Saturday July 15th 2023!! What is everyone up too this weekend

In Vermont. They claim a chance of rain today. Hit and miss, some areas are flooded others just wet. Price you pay for green.

Kids are at my parents this weekend.  Wife and I talked about making a big breakfast on the Blackstone this morning.  Probably end up with just Bloody Mary's.

Made Papas Fritas last night.  Good as hell!

Might do a little yard work before the heat.  Even at 4,000' well be high 90s.

Recovering from oral surgery yesterday.   No biggie just a bit sore and stitches are driving me nuts.

Going to serve some papers shortly, hopefully that goes well.

Load a bunch of greens in the 2 cans the city graced me with.  So now it only takes 3 weeks to get rid of what should have taken 1.  Progress....

Dunno but tomorrow.   Guess I'm not going to be mansion shopping as we did not win the lotto.  LOL

Going to replace all 6 today. Run dome errands.  Hit a buddies for some pork he's smoking tonight.  Beers.

Yard work. Catch my nephews baseball game and beers. Chores.

Wife and kids are gone for 10 days so I've got a chit load of crap I'd like to do.

A little slow at the moment after seeing Jason Isbell and Deer Tick at the Greek Theater last night (followed by closing down Bar Henry in Echo Park). Thinking I'll be motivated enough in a few hours to go down the street for some quality day drinking / food eating and a nap . . .

Was in Austin Sun night - Wed night then took a red-eye back home.  Did heavy leg day Thurs and it fux0red my immune system.  Hit heavy chest/dips/tris Friday and I obliterated my body.  Did med-heavy back and biceps today and I feel depleted.  Took a short trip to take the fam to the new Bucc-ees.  It was ok.

Now sitting outside under the canopy of the trees swing in my hammock with a semi-industrial fan blowing to keep the bugs away.  Hope to fall asleep soon for a couple of hours and replenish my health and energy.

have a great weekend all!

Wife and son just returned from visiting her dad in Monterey (he lives off 17-mile) and she was shockingly disappointed at all the homeless living on the beach between the dunes in Seaside as you approach Monterey.

She never in a million years thought it would hit Monterey.

Sadly, it’s now apparent that no town is immune in CA.

Heh, many who camped with Bouy in Dumont on “Boys Trips” dealt with the same exact thing upon returning home. 👀

My wife is thinking about getting a motorcycle to ride with me  - I'm on the fence of wanting her to get one...Not sure I want to worry about her getting hurt.  Anyone ride with their wives? There was an India motorcycle event on the news that made us go take a look...for now we are trying to find a bike she fits on and is comfortable...so far she like the honda rebel the best.

Celebrating my sons 40th birthday tonight.  Silvia and I got babysitting duties today while they set everything up.  We’re just hanging out and taking in the scenery.
Everyone have a safe weekend.

This is why we are in Vermont, our daughter's 40th birthday was this last Friday. We came as a suprise, and also flew in her brother to join in. Weather cooperated Friday, now it's pouring. They seem better at forecasting than at home though and claim it should stop and be clear soon. I hope!

Make sure it's something you would want to ride.  Because there's a 90% chance you will be the only one riding it.

Only in the back seat. I know that’s not for all but don’t think she would do well in a panic situation

Did the Dolomites then last day of riding we had 3 hours of light rain and visited a famous motorcycle museum on the top of a hill between Italy and Austria. There had to be 500-700 vintage bikes there  total riding miles -930 miles
