It's Saturday Jan 13th 2024.. What is everyone up too this weekend?

Brian will be in my thoughts and prayers today. As for our adventure this weekend. We're expecting an Arctic Blast tonight thru Tuesday. High's in the Mid Twenties Lows in the Teens. Today we'll prep for the cold. Cover all the new plants around the house. Give the trees a good soaking at the base. Bring up another load of fire wood from the barn. Get some indoor things together for indoor work. Hunker Down and enjoy the freeze. Da chEFF isn't much of an inside four walls kind of guy so the mental is a huge challenge. As long as the ice stays off the ground, we should be fine. Y'all have a great weekend and be safe. Brian Covey, you'll be missed! RIP my friend. Peace 

 
Glamis prep for next weekend.  Change fluids in the pro r, check fluids in the tow pig and fill the toy hauler with some food.   Thats if i can get motivated to get out on the 39* weather.

 
Working out of town so getting everything ready to leave again Monday early AM , also trying to get toyhauler and toys ready for trip first weekend in February

thinking of Pastor - wish I could be there today for the ceremony!!!! Will be thinking of him at 12:30!!!!

Tinkering on the kids 20240113_081738.jpgand wifes machines. Got to get a parts list going for our Glamis spring break trip.

Clearing snow and keeping the wood stove raging. Supposed to be a colder than crap the next 3 days. -8 this morning + 40mph winds. Brrrr.

 
Business trips to TX were cancelled due to weather so get to spend all next week with my fam.

Today:

  1. -gym
  2. -son’s soccer
  3. -buy some base layers
  4. -laundry
  5. -wife’s resume
  6. -work on business playbooks

Tomorrow:

  1. gym
  2. reading/math lessons with son
  3. wrestling match with son
  4. church
  5. going to Asheville for the night- hang out downtown, Fire pits, prolly outdoor jacuzzi time, etc.

Monday:

  1. gym
  2. breakfast 
  3. hike in NC
  4. lunch in NC
  5. Sightsee
  6. return home in the evening

tuesday: head to ATL to check on my g-body.

 
65* in TX right now. By mid-night........32*. By morning 24*. Only in TX. Peace

 
Plenty of pilots so in the office doing load calcs, updating records and customer loading.  Some of the kids need to be strapped in tight and the ladies always need extra help.  

Actully got to have a couple fancy cups of vanilla coffee.  

Already lots of tours in the air and its early.
