Well the weekend is upon us once again.What are everyone's plans?

For me I got some chores around the House and Hopefully will get a chance to tear the old seats out of the SXS and put new ones in we will see..

Also to ALL the Fathers out there Have a Great Fathers Day...

 
Nothing planned today.  Might do some tree trimming.  I'm prepping a pork butt to smoke tomorrow.  Actually have the day off tomorrow.

Trying to not drink today but not sure I can pull it off.  Maybe I'll watch Dune 2 to kill some time.

Buying a belt sander this week to finish this bitch off!

I actually have a day to do whatever I want till about 4pm...

About to turn on MX...make another cup of coffee.

Probably clean the house, mow the lawn, get my truck washed, clean my BBQ (at least 2 of those 4)   :lmao:

Pick up my wife from the airport later at 4.

It's my brother's birthday today...so happy 56 to him! :cheers:

Borrow a Chinese mulcher from a friend to do a little job ( I was thinking about getting one too). Then I broke not only a tooth but the holder for the tooth. Fabbed up some cold rolled. Then went swimming. Most of the grandkids are already here  planning on having a busy Father’s Day. I requested a blackberry shake for tonight made from vanilla bean and blackberries from our grove of berries  because it’s Chinese I can’t get parts but found a company that will have them in july

Towed the boat with the Tahoe for the 1st today - down to San Vicente reservoir from up in Ramona...,,sandwhich and a Pepsi with the wife....awesome day.

Then back up the hill :classic_blink: ...man that 6.5 diesel struggles pretty bad - temps were climbing and I was pushing to do 45 - which is sad as that boat is prob 3500 lbs??.  Oh well, it's not my main tow vehicle but it would have been nice if it performed a little better.

I was lucky enough to have grandparents that had a 45ft boat at a marina in San Diego...many week or 2 long trips to Catalina, marlin tournaments, etc.  I look back on that as some of the best times in my life...as a kid you don't realize how unique it is to have that experience.  One of my plans in life is to own a boat for 2 or 3 years - at least.

Anyway - all that is to say is I'm jealous, it must be absolutely beautiful on a boat up there in a boat. Stoked for you.

I had trigger finger surgery in December and my second carpal tunnel surgery in January. 

I feel your pain.

I will say that I have an  excellent hand surgeon if you need an referral. 

 
Celebrated a couple friends birthdays last night. One turned 75 the other 60. We must be getting older. Got a morning of sunshine and heat. It's a wonderful thing! Have an awesome Fathers Day Y'ALL. Peace

 
Pork Butt on the smoker.  Doing some smoked Queso later to put on the pork tacos.

Tried out an early Father's Day gift last night.  Smoke infuser.  I either need more booze or less smoke.  WAY too oaky.  *I don't generally drink straight whiskey 

I guess Bloody Mary's after this last cup of coffee.

absolutely love mine. Add a couple dashes of bitters and some foofoo cherries and syrup. Smoked Old Fashioned is where it's at :cheer:

 
Watched some golf, played some golf, ended up at my local Irish pub 4 out of 5 days, replaced some heims on the front end of the car, hung out with my boys on Sunday, pretty good weekend :cheers:
